Biography

Laura is a registered adult nurse who has worked across Scotland and England in a range of clinical settings, including high dependency care. More recently, she has worked with NHS Western Isles where she developed a keen interest in simulation and supporting others to learn. Laura is excited to begin her new role as a lecturer in Adult Nursing with UHI and looks forward to sharing her clinical experience and supporting future nurses throughout their journey.

Teaching

Teaching interests include adult nursing, clinical skills and simulation. Laura is particularly interested in helping students build their confidence and supporting them to link their learning to clinical practice.

Research

Interested in developing research in nursing education, simulation and rural healthcare as she begins her academic career.
